FireFly Enchantment
still-night-silence
the breeze a transcendent
sigh
through summer-high grass
seconds slow as moments
last
beyond recorded time…
firefly spirits guard the enchanted night
diffused and dispersed their
guiding light…
moonless twilight…like a
lovers caress
wraps the sky in shades of
tenderness…
breathless moments linger longingly
in pre-dark silhouette
day is spent…the weary sun
has set
as a translucent breeze in
summer-grass, sighs
I bid the day goodbye.
